How can we Help You ?
Our doctors and nurses can help you with a wide range of problems, including contraception,
pregnancy tests, drug & alcohol problems, or worries you may have about your health or
about things that are happening to you.

What's the Teen-Scene Forum ?
It allows you to ask our Doctor any health related questions you may have. You can also search
the forum to see what others have asked along with the answer they got.

How do I see a Doctor or Nurse ?
Just come to the surgery by yourself or bring
a friend.

Got an Urgent Problem ?
If you have an urgent problem (e.g. you need emergency contraception / morning after pill), we
will always try to see you as soon as possible.
Please tell the receptionist that you need to be seen today.
She will probably ask you the reason why, in order for us to arrange an appropriate appointment
for you. You can ask to speak to the receptionist privately or tell her that "it is a personal problem"
if you find it embarrassing to talk about. The receptionist will always keep your conversation
confidential.

What other Information do you have ?
We also have a supply free leaflets in our waiting room.
There is also a contraception clinic for teenagers every Saturday morning at Connexions in
Stafford (near Argos) from 10am - 12 noon. Telephone 01785 356656 - You do not need an
appointment.

What about Confidentiality ?
Your Doctor, Nurses and Health Centre staff provide a completely confidential service to everyone,
including teenagers and the under 16s. This means we will not tell anyone about your visit. The
only rare exception is if you are at risk of very serious harm. We will always try to inform you
first.
